WELCOME

Hello and welcome to the world of Riverwood - Artisan Bridalwear!
Please join us in celebrating handcrafted, vintage and creative treasures for a bridal journey and beyond, that's just a little different!
Thank you for visiting our little haven of creativity, sparkle and beautiful, handcrafted treasures.
From our studio in the Forest of Dean, we specialise in creating bespoke bridal wear, jewellery and accessories.
Our professional alteration service is also available for any bridal or occasion wear.
In addition, 2025 saw the introduction of our in-house workshops and sewing courses, along with a unique range of gifts, keepsakes and a sustainable collection of off-the-peg modern and vintage bridal wear and occasion wear.
The focus of our in-house bridal wear collection is on mix and match styles along with the use of sustainable and ethical materials. The collection features heritage textiles and traditional techniques. Indian embroideries and Harris Tweed® are particular favourites. We also use organic or vintage fabrics and a variety of other natural and/or recycled/repurposed materials, to support our sustainable & low waste policy.
Our vintage collection is a true treasure trove of beautiful, nostalgic pieces and is a must see for any brides looking for a vintage vibe.
If sewing or crafting is something you enjoy, please take a look at our workshops and courses. They are a great opportunity to explore your skills and learn from a tutor with 16 plus years of professional sewing experience. We offer a selection of different workshops, from taster sessions, to 6 week courses. Special seasonal sessions and a group booking options are also available, perfect for a creative hen party, baby shower or other special occasion.
You can even ask us about making your own wedding dress!
We also work with a project in India called United Artisans of Kutch, to bring traditional artisan products to the UK market. It’s a platform established to help local, independent artisans of the Kutch region, in Gujarat to sell their products worldwide and allow them to earn a fair price for their work. Please follow the links below to meet my team and read more of my story to find out why this project is so close to my heart.
